STEP 1

Introduction & Initial Discussion

The introductory meeting is provided at our expense, as we want you to see it as a chance to get to know us and establish if we are right for you. This can take place at our office, via video conferencing or telephone – as convenient for you.

At the outset we will define the relationship we will have with you and clearly explain our services and how we can help you. We will confirm how much our services will cost and what you can expect in return from us.

STEP 2

Identifying your Objectives

If you choose to proceed, the next step involves gathering the necessary personal information from you so that we can clarify your personal and financial goals. This will involve completing our confidential Fact-Finding and Risk Profile questionnaires. We can complete these together or you can do this at your own convenience.

Together we will define your goals and objectives, the level of risk you are willing or can afford to take in meeting these, and the time frames that are appropriate.

STEP 3

Analysis, Research & Report

We are fully independent and that gives us the advantage of being able to access the whole of market when identifying suitable products and services for you. Using our expertise, we will develop a report that will outline your financial plan and make specific recommendations to address your personal goals and objectives.

Depending on your specific circumstances and objectives, this may include analysing any existing savings, investments and pensions; financial protection coverage; cash flow modelling forecasts; retirement planning and tax optimisation strategies.

STEP 4

Answering Your Questions

Upon completion of your financial planning report, we will send this to you for review and once you’ve had an opportunity to digest this, we will arrange a follow up meeting to discuss the details and answer any questions that you may have.

We will always give you as much time as required to come back with any questions and to consider what’s best for you. We like to educate as well as advise; ultimately, we want you to feel confident in choosing your path forward.

STEP 5

Completing the Paperwork

Only when you are completely satisfied with the advice received and all your questions have been answered, will we then proceed to prepare the necessary paperwork required to implement your financial plan.

Most products and services nowadays have an online process that allows us to complete documents on your behalf before sending these for your approval. Where that isn’t the case, we will walk you through any application forms step by step and ensure that the whole process is, for you, simple and straightforward from start to finish. Thereafter, we will continue to keep you updated until everything is completed.

STEP 6

Monitor and Review

All clients will receive access to our secure online Client Portal where you can access valuations, link accounts, store documents safely and contact us via secure messaging for when sending sensitive information.

If you put us in charge of reviewing your financial plan, we will report to you on a periodic basis at set intervals as agreed between us at the outset. These would typically be six-monthly or annually.

This allows us to track and monitor the performance of your investments, ensuring you remain on track to fulfil your goals and objectives. If or when any changes need to be made, we can act swiftly and decisively as you are already onboarded as a client. Having an ongoing relationship can provide you with peace of mind, knowing there is a safe pair of hands looking after your money – especially when financial markets become more unpredictable. Furthermore, we are always ready and available to offer our advice and support on any aspect of your finances.

Whilst we firmly believe our ongoing advice and portfolio updates will ultimately deliver good value and help ensure returns are maximised over the long-term, such services are optional and you can also cancel them at any time.
